Vivo S1 with Pop-up Selfie Camera to Cost Less Than Rs 15,000 in India
Recently, the leaked images of the upcoming Vivo S1 was spotted on Weibo revealing the first look and key specifications. The device looks exactly similar to the Vivo V15 and also comes offers similar specifications. Now the latest reports suggest the company to launch the upcoming Vivo S series smartphone in the Indian market as well. While there is not much difference between the Vivo S1 and Vivo V15, the company will sell the Vivo S1 exclusively via online stores.
On the other hand, Vivo V15 will be limited to offline stores across the country. The Vivo S1 is said to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro smartphones. While the Redmi Note 7 Pro is already launched in India, the Realme 3 Pro will be debuting next month. All the three devices will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Talking about the Vivo S1, it will offer come with a 6.53-inch Full View display with no notch on the top.
Just like Vivo V15, the Vivo S1 also comes powered by MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor. It comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively. On the rear, the device sports 12MP + 8MP + 5MP triple rear cameras along with a fingerprint scanner. The pop-up selfie camera on this device will feature a 25MP sensor. It is backed by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery and might support 18W fast charging.
While the Vivo V15 with similar specifications is expected to cost Rs 22,990 in India, the company will be selling Vivo S1 for less than Rs 15,000.
