Samsung Start Rolling out Update to its Galaxy A50 in India, Brings Camera Improvements

Samsung has started rolling out a new update to its Galaxy A50 smartphone in India which will improve the camera picture quality. The update is available via OTA and will hit your device in the next few days depending on the region. Recently we have seen the device getting the update out of the box and the latest OTA update will come with the built number A505FDDU1ASC1.

The update is said to bring March Security patch for the users along with the improvements in the camera picture quality. The size of the update is 138.67 and it is suggested to update the device maintaining a minimum of 60 percent charge to be on the safe and also back up all the data. The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a vulnerability that gave unauthorized access to sensitive information in AllShare and a secure startup bug.

The Galaxy A50 comes with a big 6.4-inch FHD+ display with an infinity-U notch that houses the selfie camera giving a screen-to-body ratio of 91.6 percent. Under the hood, there will be an Octa-core Exynos 9610 chipset coupled with 4GB / 6GB of RAM. The handset features a triple camera setup on the rear that includes a 25MP main sensor along with an auto-focus f/1.7 lens. There is a secondary 5MP sensor with fixed f/2.2 lens and an 8MP camera with a fixed focus of the f/2.2 lens and there is a 25MP selfie snapper.

To power the handset there is 4,000mAh battery which will be supporting 15W fast charging via Type-C port.
