Huawei Shares Original P30 Pro Camera Samples Showing its Super Zoom Capabilities

A day after getting caught for using the stock images as camera samples, Huawei now released the original camera samples shot using its Huawei P30 Pro smartphone. Also, this is not the first time Huawei used this tactic before the launch events. It got caught twice before the Huawei P30 incident. While the real-world camera samples never look as exciting as the altered DSLR images, they at least giving the basic idea of the camera capabilities of the device.

From the below images, we can see the device capturing the close up shots by zooming from the end of the concert hall. The zero loss in the quality of the close shots is clearly visible (Note: the camera samples are compressed into convenient file sizes). However, the superclose shots which could have been captured using the digital zoom are a bit grainy and lack clarity. Also, these photos are taken during the concert where the lighting will be very bad.

Back in February, the company’s vice president also shared the images teasing the Super Zoom capabilities of the Huawei P30 Pro smartphone. While OPPO showcased 10x lossless zoom technology, the Huawei P30 Pro is rumored to offer 7x lossless zoom. We have to wait until March 26th to get the official confirmation over the camera features. According to the latest leaks, the device will come with a 40MP primary camera along with an ultra wide-angle sensor, a telephoto sensor, and a ToF 3D sensor.

For selfies, the Huawei P30 Pro might come with a 32MP sensor. As of now, there is no confirmation that both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will share the same quad camera setup. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
