Google Fit update promises improvements in battery life for Wear OS smartwatches

Great news for those who bought a Wear OS smartwatch, as Google is now bringing new improvements to some of them that will eventually reduce power consumption. The improvements are made via Google Fit, a health-tracking platform developed by Google for Wear OS (Android too).

Well, it looks like the latest Google Fit update makes it possible for some Wear OS smartwatch to use a battery saving low power GPS mode. Basically, this means that these smartwatches will be much more efficient with battery use when running Google Fit.
