Samsung Galaxy S10 5G with 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED Display & Quad Rear Cameras Unveiled

Alongside the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy Fold smartphones, Samsung also unveiled the Galaxy S10 5G smartphone. Unlike the other Galaxy S10 models, the Galaxy S10 5G won’t be made available across the globe. Even in the US, the device will be exclusive to Verizon during the launch. As of now, there is no information about the pricing and exact availability date of the device. Along with the 5G connectivity, the company made few other upgrades to the Galaxy S10 5G.

The device will be coming with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the device will come powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform or 8nm Exynos 9820 octa-core processor. It will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. In the whole Galaxy S lineup, the Galaxy S10 5G will be the smartphone to come with the largest display and biggest battery.

Just like the other base variants in the Galaxy S10 lineup, the Galaxy S10 5G is also equipped with 8GB of RAM. While there is 256GB of internal storage, it misses out the expandable MicroSD card slot. The Galaxy S10 Plus was announced with dual front cameras and triple rear cameras. Now, the Galaxy S10 5G comes with dual front cameras and quad rear cameras. There is a dedicated 3D cameras sensor on the front and rear for Video Live focus and Quick Measure.

The device comes with a single card slot and runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It measures 162.6 x 77.1 x 7.94 mm and weighs 198 grams. The Galaxy S10 5G can be securely unlocked using the in-display fingerprint scanner or 3D face unlock. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
