Oppo Announces its New 5G Smartphone & World’s First 10x lossless zoom Technology

Today at Barcelona, Spain, Oppo has hosted its global Innovation event and has announced Worlds first 10x lossless zoom technology along with developments in 5G technology. Being one among the top 5 smartphone brands in the world, Oppo has been investing more on innovation with commitments to R&D which helps the company to develop innovations like image beautification technology, 5G, AR/VR e.t.c.

Oppo’s Vice President – Anyi Jiang has commented that innovation is their top priority and they are looking forward to continuing the commitment and bring more advancement in 5G and photography. Oppo is getting closer to the 5G era with its announcement of its 5G smartphone and Oppo 5G Landing Project. Furthermore, it also proposed and committed to bringing full play with the capability of its carrier partners like Optus, Swisscom, Telstra and more to promote and implement 5G products.

President of Qualcomm also committed to 5G innovation and said that they have been working closely with Oppo to launch its first 5G smartphone powered with their flagship chipset (Snapdragon 855) with X50 5GB modem, integrated RF transceiver, and RF Front-End solutions. Oppo also mentioned that the first 5G smartphone is all set to revolutionize consumers with 4K, 8K video download/upload or cloud-play, along with 3D video calling, 5G cloud gaming, AR shopping integrated, and multiplayer AR/VR gaming.

At the event, it also showcased the worlds first 10x lossless zoom technology which has been created with industry-leading camera specification that includes triple-lens camera structure with a telephoto lens, ultra-wide-angle lens, and main camera.
