Samsung’s New Galaxy M10 & Galaxy M20 Smartphones Launched With Infinity-V Displays

Samsung India has launched its new Galaxy M series in the country. The much-anticipated mid-range smartphones – the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 have been unveiled today by the company. This segment has seen immense popularity and growth over a couple of years in the country, which led Samsung to bring this new Galaxy M series smartphones with a complete design overhaul. These smartphones feature Samsung’s new Infinity–V displays, which are similar to the teardrop and water drop notch displays that we have encountered in the past year.

The Galaxy M10 features a 6.2-inch full-screen HD+ Infinity-V display, which is the Samsung’s new display with a V-shaped notch on the top that beholds the front-facing camera sensor. Under the hood, the Galaxy M10 is powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos 7870 octa-core processor — followed by 2/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal memory. On the camera front, the M10 features dual cameras with ultra wide angle lens, wherein the primary sensor is a 13MP Samsung’s S5K3L2 sensor with an aperture of f/1.9. And, the ultra-wide cameras hosts a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The Infinity-V display holds a 5MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. The Galaxy M10 is fuelled by a 3400mAh battery, and lastly, the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The larger brother of the M10 – the Galaxy M20 smartphone comes with a slightly bigger 6.3-inch Infinity-V display but with an FHD+ resolution. The M20 packs in an Exynos 7904 octa-core processor with cloak speeds up to 1.8GHz paired with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. As for the optics, the M20 also features dual cameras as well with a 13MP S.LSI Samsung’s primary sensor that comes with an aperture f/1.9 alongside the 5MP ultra wide sensor. The front camera on the M20 is an 8MP sensor with an aperture f/2.0. The Galaxy M20 is kept alive by a massive 5000mAh battery, which also supports fast charge technology. The phone is shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Both the phones are scheduled to get Android 9.0 Pie updates this year. Furthermore, these Galaxy M series are featured in two coloraturas variants – Charcoal Black and Denim Blue. The Galaxy M20 is priced at Rs 10,990 for the 3GB/32GB variant and the larger 6GB/64GB is priced Rs 12,990. And, the Galaxy M10 is priced at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB/32GB variant and Rs 7,990 for the 2GB/16GB. Both these Galaxy M series phones are sold as Amazon Exclusives.
