OnePlus Rolling Out OxygenOS Open Beta Update to OnePlus 6 & 6T

OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS open beta update for OnePlus 6 & 6T smartphones which brings many improvements. This is going to be fourth OxygenOS Open beta for 6T while it will be a 12th one for the OnePlus 6 smartphone. According to the company, the new update includes support for a quick reply for any new message when the phone is in the landscape mode while watching a video or playing a game. This feature was not available earlier although the user could reply in portrait mode.

The new update also brings improvements in the gaming mode, and brings screenshot optimizations and also adds OnePlus Laboratory to the OnePlus 6, that lets the user enable new smart Boost feature which will be improving the app and game loading time by optimizing the RAM. There is also an improvement in the clock, as support for world clock with weather information has been added.

The size of the OxygenOS beta update for OnePlus 6 and 6T is 300MB in size and it will be rolled out via OTA for the users who have already flashed their device for the previous beta build. If you have not flashed your device and still want this new update, then you need to flash the full beta ROM from the link provided below. It is suggested to wait for the Alpha update from the company instead of flashing your device.
