Huawei Mate 9 Starts Receiving Android 9.0 Pie Stable Update

Huawei has started rolling out stable Android Pie update to its 2016 flagship model – Mate 9. The device was also a part of the beta programme a few months back and now the owners of it should be excited to receive the stable update. The update comes as EMUI 9.0.1.150 and will bring many new features to the device along with some bug fixes and security patches.

Currently, the update is being rolled out in China and will be released around the world very soon. The update has bought the changes like a new feature like Digital Wellbeing that monitors app usage which includes the amount of time the user has spent viewing notification and time spent on a particular application. It also makes the application color to change grey at a present time to make it easy for the user to drop the phone and go to sleep.

Many Android Pie features that we know accompany the update and an update to the HiVision which is Huawei’s take on Google Lens that identifies the objects or famous monuments and also identifies the number of calories in the food that user is taking. It is also known for bringing real-time translation for the users making it easy on the go. It brings Huawei Share that is a one-click wireless printing feature with which the user can print the required documents with just a tap of a button on the supported printer.

Furthermore, the update brings tweaks in the UI which is focussed on natural elements and sounds.
