Facebook Portal and Portal+ smart displays get $50 discount for Black Friday

Just in case Facebook didn’t have a tough enough job competing with the likes of Amazon and Google in the “smart display” space, the second-generation Echo Show, Google Home Hub, and Lenovo’s fittingly named 10-incher all got deep Black Friday price cuts.

But although the Portal duo was only unveiled last month, kicking off US deliveries a couple of weeks ago, its social media-specialized manufacturing company ultimately decided to follow everyone else’s suit with its own sweet deals.
