Samsung Galaxy A9s with Quad Rear Cameras Leaked Ahead of the Official Launch
Samsung appears to be gearing up to launch its new upper mid-range device – the Samsung Galaxy A9s later today. After the recent launch of LG V40 ThinQ, which apparently is the world’s first smartphone to feature a 5-cameras setup – three camera sensors on the rear and two on the front, Samsung might also be taking this route to launch its new Galaxy A9 with four camera sensors on the rear and a single selfie camera on the front.
A new report suggests that the new A9 is expected to feature a 6-3-inch display with Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED panel with the standard Full HD+ (2160 X 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the device packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset that clocks at 2.2GHz speeds. In terms of storage, the A9 would feature 6GB RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage along with SD card expansion.
However, the premium feature of the upcoming Galaxy A9s is the new 4-camera setup on the rear. As for the sensors, the primary main camera has a 24MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.7. This main sensor is paired up with an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture. As for the telephoto camera, the phone rocks a 10MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2x optical zoom and lastly, it also boasts a 5MP Depth camera with a f/2/2 aperture that targets the Live Focus mode.
The report also suggests that the Samsung is also providing the new Galaxy A9s with a 19 special image enhancement modes that apparently provides specific preferences for different kinds of things that include food, portrait shots, night shots etc. The 2018 Galaxy A9 smartphone is fuelled by a 3800mAh non-removable battery which supports Fast Charging through a USB-Type C port.
And, Samsung is opting out to new color variants with the Galaxy A9s including ‘Huawei’ inspired ‘Twilight’ color design along with Pink, Blue, and Black color variants.
