Orient seeks Galaxy Watch sales ban on grounds of trademark infringement

Samsung this year decided to rebrand its smartwatch lineup, which was previously sold under the "Gear" name, and fold it under the "Galaxy" moniker. It made a lot of sense, considering the "Galaxy" name is widely associated with Samsung and its smartphones and tablets. The first wearable to come out following the rebranding was the Galaxy Watch – a successor to the Gear S3 and an overall great device.
