OnePlus tweets that it will make an exciting announcement early Monday morning

A tweet disseminated early this morning by OnePlus says that the company will make "an exciting announcement" early Monday morning. Back in September, a teaser released by OnePlus to promote the Screen Unlock in-display fingerprint scanner for the OnePlus 6T showed the date of October 17th. In addition, OnePlus has unveiled its two previous "T" releases exactly five months and one day after the original model was introduced. That would work out to October 17th for the OnePlus 6T.
