Nokia 6.1 Plus users can now beta-test Android 9.0 Pie update

HMD Global may not have been able to deliver a stable Android Pie update for the Nokia 7 Plus as early as planned, but the no-notch 6-incher was still one of the world’s first non-Pixel devices to get the latest OS version over-the-air.

Curiously enough, the Nokia 7.1 is set to make its commercial debut later this month running Android 8.1 Oreo out the box, although a Pie-flavored UI renovation shouldn’t be too far away.
