Twitter and Periscope now allow audio-only live broadcasts

How many times did you want to go live on Twitter but stopped because you didn't want people to see you? If the answer is “many times,” you'll be pleased to know that starting this week you'll be able to do that without anyone seeing you.

Twitter has just announced that both its apps – Twitter and Periscope will now allow users to go live without having to film themselves. The audio-only broadcasts are now rolling out for iOS devices, but Android users should get it soon as well, although Twitter didn't make any mention of it yet.
