Samsung Galaxy Note 8 update brings Super Slow-Motion and AR Emojis

Two features that some find gimmicky are only available on the current Samsung flagships, the Galaxy S9/S9+ and Galaxy Note 9: Super Slow-Motion and AR Emojis. Perhaps the former wouldn't be gimmicky at all if Samsung wouldn't have included strict limits to how you can capture Super Slow-Motion videos.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+, you can capture 0.2s of 960fps videos, whereas the Galaxy Note 9 allows you to record 0.4s of 960fps videos, both at 720p. However, if you own any other Samsung smartphone, you can't capture slo-mo videos at all.
