iPhone and iPad push iOS adoption to 79% in mobile enterprise market

When it comes to enterprise customers, Microsoft undeniably holds the crown in regards to the desktop portion of the market thanks to the popularity of Windows. But switch over to a smartphone or a tablet and it’s a completely different story, according to a new report by Egnyte.

Thanks to data compiled over the past twelve months, it’s been revealed that over 46% of all enterprise customers have chosen one of Apple’s various iPhones as their preferred device, while a further 32% have opted for an iPad. This means that, in total, just under 80% of all enterprise users use an iOS device. ...
