Google Photos is the latest app to receive Material Design 2.0

A few months ago, Google showed off Material Design 2.0 and announced it would be rolling out later in the year. We've already seen the redesign go live in Google Tasks, Google Maps, the Google Assistant, Gmail, and the latest app to get the treatment is Google Photos.

Google Photos 4.0, rolling out today, introduces Material Design 2.0, though the changes seem to be primarily superficial, and are completely in line with what we've come to expect from Google's design language.
