Apple's A12 Bionic announced with some serious performance upgrades

Included inside the brand-new iPhone XS and XS Max is the company’s latest processor, the A12 Bionic. And, just as expected, it’s the smartest and most powerful processor to ever be included inside an iPhone, according to Apple. Also, it will be the first 7-nanometer chip to reach the market.

Building upon the progress Apple made with last year’s A11 Bionic, the new A12 chip once again includes a six-core CPU based on its own Fusion architecture.
