Amazon announces Fire TV Recast, a new companion DVR for mobile devices

Amazon was on fire earlier today, having announced quite a few new products, so the fact that the company introduced a new device called Fire TV Recast shouldn't surprise anyone. This is a companion DVR that enables users to watch, record, and replay free OTA (over the air) TV programming on Fire TV, Echo Show, and on compatible Fire tablet, iOS, and Android devices.
