It's hard to argue with free gifts, and when it comes to Samsung, it always sweetens the pot for its flagship phone prices. In the case of the Note 9 the freebies serve not for sweetening, but to cushion the $999 blow, and Samsung just swapped one set of free gifts for another, for those who get it from today onwards.Initially, pre-order customers were eligible to receive one set of AKG Noise Cancelling headphones or a Fortnite Game Bundle, worth $150. The Note 9 buyers could also choose to receive both items for an additional $99 which made the whole thing even sweeter.
