Samsung 5G Galaxy S10 Plus Global Debut starts in Korea from April 5

Samsung is all set to launch its 5G Galaxy S10 Plus for sale starting in Korea from 5th of April, 2019. The 5G Galaxy S10 Plus was unveiled along with the trio of Galaxy S10 devices a couple of months ago, right before MWC, 2019. The Korean tech giant has announced that it would be available in the midst of this year, and as promised, the company is making the debut of the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus this week in Korea. The company had claimed that it had worked closely with network operators, device manufacturers, and software developers to achieve this 5G capable Galaxy S10 Plus.

Samsung believes with the Galaxy S10 Plus 5G, and they are beginning a new era and making the 5G become a reality with incredible speeds. The company had chosen to launch the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus starting in Korea, since the country had already introduced 5G commercial networks back in December 2018. The launch Galaxy S10 Plus 5G in Korea is said to be the first commercially available smartphone featuring Gigabit speed 5G transmission in the market.

Samsung claims with the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus smartphone delivered to consumers, they can experience speeds approximately up to 20x faster than the current 4G networks and also brags about the speeds stating with the 5G network speeds users will be able to download a full TV show in minutes, play graphic-rich cloud games, stream 4K video virtually without any lag and more.

As for the specifications of the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus, which were announced at the unpacked event already, to recall, the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus features a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, it is believed that it will be powered by an Exynos 8nm octa-core processor, followed by 8GB of RAM and 256/512GB of onboard storage. A massive 4500mAh battery powers the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus with wireless fast charging capabilities and also features Wireless PowerShare, which is basically a reverse wireless charging feature.

And, lastly, the device runs on Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie-based One UI software. Unlike the regular S10 Plus, the 5G variant comes with Super fast charging 25W adapter out-of-the-box. The company had recently added the 25W charge support to the earlier released trio of Galaxy S10 smartphones via an OTA (Over-the-Air) update.

Samsung had also revealed the color variants of the 5G Galaxy S10 Plus which include the Majestic Black, Royal Gold, and Crown Silver color variants. As for the pricing, the device is said to be priced at KRW 1,390,000 (approx. Rs 85,000) for the standard 5G Galaxy S10 Plus (256GB variant) and the larger 512GB variant would be around KRW 1,550,000 (Rs 94,400 approx.).
